It is strangely true that around 40 million of United States population is suffering from different types of insomnia sleep disorder. Around 40% of these are women. A person may be over anxious or have a negative thought process. The second type of insomnia sleep disorder is the precipitation factor in which certain external events cause sleep problems such as a sudden demise of a loved one, a shift in the work or long distance travel etc. The third type of insomnia sleep disorder is the perpetual factor. Perpetual factors are the habits that the person has developed such as alcohol, caffeine, drugs or even medications. There are some people who have the habit of drinking coffee before bedtime, or may be smoke the last cigarette for the day!!! Some people due to their illness have got used to certain medications and they believe that it will be difficult to sleep without them. The best treatment of insomnia sleep disorder is to have psychological and physiological changes in ones life style and daily routine. Although, there are certain medications that can be prescribed occasionally for people with insomnia sleep disorders, but they are either not beneficial after certain period of use or they cause addiction symptoms. Having a healthy sleep hygiene and an active living with enough room for exercise and nutritious eating is the key to get rid of insomnia sleep disorder.
